Which is faster for tight deadlines?
Soft enamel is usually faster. It skips the multiple rounds of heavy polishing and baking required for hard enamel, which can save valuable production days when your deadline is tight.
Can enamel do gradient colors or shadows?
No. Enamel uses solid colors hand-poured into metal cells, so gradients, shadows, and photo-style details are not possible with standard enamel.
For gradients, photos, or highly detailed artwork, we recommend our insert printed medals instead.
Can you make soft enamel smooth?
Yes. We can add a clear epoxy coating over soft enamel to give the medal a smooth, glossy finish while keeping the cost lower than hard enamel.
How do you guarantee exact color matching?
We mix colors strictly based on your PMS Pantone codes and send a high-resolution digital proof for your approval before molding.
