Custom hard enamel keychains are a premium choice for brands, artists, and high-end merchandise.

Unlike soft enamel, hard enamel is filled and then polished flat, creating a smooth, jewelry-like surface with a flawless mirror finish. The colors sit perfectly level with the metal, giving your design a clean, solid, and premium feel.

This style is ideal for detailed logos, corporate branding, collectibles, and designs that need a more refined and durable presentation.

Hard enamel keychains are scratch-resistant and built for long-term use, making them perfect for premium retail products, event gifts, and brand merchandise that needs to stand out.

Pricing is based on size and quantity. Larger orders significantly reduce unit cost, making it ideal for wholesale, promotional campaigns, and premium product lines.

Why Go Hard Enamel?

1. The Perfect Flat Surface

Unlike soft enamel which leaves recessed paint pockets and bumpy metal ridges, hard enamel is overfilled with pigment and buffed down to a completely uniform, level finish. It gives your design a sleek, modern look that feels incredibly high-end in the hand.

2. Made for Daily Wear and Tear

Keychains rattle against keys in pockets and bags every single day. The high-temperature curing process makes the hard enamel color fields rock-hard. It won’t chip, flake, or dull over time, keeping your branding crisp for years.

3. High Perceived Value, Smart Budgeting

It’s the ultimate sweet spot in merchandise. It costs only slightly more than soft enamel, but avoids the cheap, throwaway look of plastic items. You get a retail-ready collectible that people genuinely treasure, without paying custom luxury craft prices.

FAQ

Hard Enamel Keychains FAQ

Common questions about hard enamel finish, durability, production limits, and quality guarantee.

What does hard enamel feel like compared to soft enamel?

Hard Enamel: The surface is polished completely flat, creating a smooth, mirror-like finish with no raised metal lines.

Soft Enamel: Has recessed paint and raised metal borders, giving a more textured 3D feel.

Will hard enamel scratch, chip, or fade with daily use?

No. Hard enamel is cured at high temperatures and polished smooth, making it highly resistant to scratching, chipping, and fading under normal daily use.

Can hard enamel keychains have gradients or very fine details?

Hard enamel only supports solid colors with no gradients or shading. Minimum line thickness is about 0.25mm to 0.3mm.

For extremely detailed artwork, digital printing is recommended.

Do I need to pay a mold fee? Can I combine designs to reach MOQ?

Mold Fee: Each design requires a one-time mold fee. We keep your mold for 2 years for free reorders.

MOQ: Each design requires its own mold, so MOQ applies per design.

What if my order arrives with defects or scratches?

If production defects are confirmed, we will remake and resend the affected items or issue a refund for those units.
